About Vida Church
We're a warm, Jesus-centered community where everyone is welcome. Whatever your past or your story, you belong here, and we'd love to walk with you as God brings new life.

Life at Vida
What does it mean to be a part of VIDA Church? Here's our five core rhythms of church life at VIDA.
Gather
We gather on Sundays to worship God through music, practical teaching from the Bible, and prayer. It’s a place to connect with others and explore what it means to follow Jesus. Whether church is familiar to you or completely new, you and your family are welcome here.
Connect
We connect in smaller communities throughout the week because we believe life is better together. VIDA Groups are a place to share a meal, build friendships, ask questions, explore the Bible, and grow together.
Serve
We serve by using our time, talents, and abilities to make a difference. VIDA Teams are a great way to meet people, build friendships, develop your skills, and be part of building a life-giving church for our city.
Give
We give because generosity is part of following Jesus. It is part of our worship, a response to God’s generosity toward us, and a practical way we partner in the mission of the local church. We choose to give regularly and generously, recognizing that everything we have comes from God.
Invite
We invite because the life we have found in Jesus is meant to be shared. We invite friends to church, people into community, and others to follow Jesus. Reaching people means helping others take their next step with Jesus, learn to follow Him, and help others do the same.

Our Pastors
Nathan & Natalia Jansen
More than ten years ago, God planted a dream in Nathan and Natalia’s hearts to start a life-giving church. They didn’t know where or when, but the calling continued to grow as they spent years investing in people and serving the local church.
When they moved to London, they thought it would be temporary. But God had other plans. Over time, He gave them a deep love for this city: its people, its diversity, its neighbourhoods, and its campuses.
In 2025, the leadership at Base Church recognized that calling and sent them out to begin the journey of planting VIDA Church.
Today, Nathan and Natalia are raising their family in the city they proudly call home. They believe God is already moving in London, and VIDA Church is their yes to His leading.
Nathan brings strategy, vision, and a communication style that feels passionate and relatable. Natalia brings heart, personality, and a gift for making people feel seen and valued.
Together, they are building a church that reflects the heart of Jesus. A church where every story matters and every person can find life in Jesus.
The Vida Code
The ten values that shape who we are.
These values keep our vision clear, unite us together, and help us stay focused on helping people find life in Jesus. This is the culture we’re building and the way we choose to live.
Our Beliefs
What we believe shapes how we live. At Vida Church, we're following Jesus together. If you're new to faith or walking with God for years, come as you are.
We believe the Bible is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the ultimate authority for what we believe and how we live. In its original writings, it is inspired, infallible, and inerrant.
We believe in one eternally existing God, the Creator of all things, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes yet without division of nature, essence, or being.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and gave His life on the cross for our sins. He rose from the dead on the third day in victory over sin and death, ascended to heaven, and will return again in power and glory. He alone is the mediator between God and humanity.
We believe in the Holy Spirit who regenerates and indwells every believer. He leads and comforts us, helps us in our weakness, and guides us in all truth. The Spirit produces spiritual fruit in our lives, gives spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church, and empowers us to be witnesses.
We believe every person is created in the image of God and was made for relationship with Him. Through sinful disobedience, all of us have become separated from God and are unable to restore a right relationship with Him through our own efforts.
We believe salvation is the free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Those who turn from sin and place their faith in Jesus are forgiven and restored to a right relationship with God. We cannot earn salvation through good works or human effort. It is only through the finished work of Jesus, accomplished through His death and resurrection, that we can be saved.
We believe sanctification is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in every believer, transforming us to become more like Jesus. As we submit to God’s Word and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are enabled to live godly lives.
We believe that following faith in Jesus Christ, believers are commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water. Water baptism is an act of obedience that signifies our identification with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection. We are declaring that our old life has been buried with Christ and that we have been raised to new life in Him.
We believe Communion is for believers to remember Jesus Christ and proclaim His death, burial, and resurrection. As we receive the bread and the cup, we look back on His sacrifice, look within as we examine our hearts, and look ahead to His return.
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The Church is made up of those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. God calls every believer to be an active part of a local church, growing in faith, loving one another, and using their gifts to serve others. Together, the Church is called to walk in unity, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and fulfill the Great Commission.
We believe Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth and establish His Kingdom in fullness. There will be a resurrection of the body and a final judgment. Our eternal destiny is determined by our response to Jesus Christ. Those who reject Him will experience eternal separation from God in hell, while those who belong to Him will experience eternal life with God in heaven.
